Every braider on Braidz IQ completes a 5-step onboarding with ID check, portfolio review, location verification, and policy disclosure before they can accept bookings.
Verification on Braidz IQ is a layered process, not a single checkbox.
**Identity & contact.** Every braider signs up with a verified email and phone number and uploads a government-issued ID, which our trust team reviews privately. IDs are never shown to clients.
**Portfolio review.** Braiders submit at least eight portfolio photos tagged by style. Our team checks for original work, style consistency, and finish quality before approval. AI-generated and stock images are rejected.
**Studio verification.** Braiders pin their service location on a map, and we cross-check it against utility or rental documents for in-studio providers. Mobile-only braiders are clearly badged.
**Policy disclosure.** Cancellation, deposit, lateness, and hair-prep policies are published on every braider profile so there are no surprises.
**Ongoing trust.** Verified badges can be revoked. Reviews are only accepted from clients with a completed booking, and our audit log tracks every change to a braider''s profile and pricing for accountability.
