How do I cancel a booking?

Open the booking in the Bookings tab and tap Cancel. If you cancel outside the braider's free-cancel window, the deposit is forfeited per their stated policy.

To cancel a Braidz IQ booking, go to **Bookings**, open the appointment, and tap **Cancel booking**. You''ll see the refund amount before you confirm. Every braider publishes their own cancellation policy on their profile. A typical policy looks like: - **More than 72 hours before the appointment:** full deposit refund. - **24 to 72 hours before:** partial refund (often 50%). - **Less than 24 hours, or no-show:** deposit forfeited. The exact window for your booking is shown on the cancellation screen, so you''re never guessing. If you need to **reschedule** instead of cancel, message your braider first — most will move the deposit to a new date if their calendar allows, and you avoid forfeiting it. Braiders can also cancel from their side (illness, emergencies). When that happens, your deposit is automatically refunded in full and we help you rebook with a similar braider. Disputes about a cancellation can be opened from the booking screen and are reviewed by our support team within two business days.
