Braidz IQ Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Customer," "Braider," or "you") and Flipping Innovations, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Braidz IQ platform, website located at braidziq.com, mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By clicking "I Agree," creating an account, or using any portion of the Platform, you represent that: (a) you are at least 18 years of age; (b) you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement; and (d) your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

2. Platform Description and Independent Contractor Status

Braidz IQ is a technology marketplace platform that connects independent professional hair braiders ("Braiders") with customers seeking hair braiding services ("Customers"). The Company does not provide hair braiding services, does not employ Braiders, and is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of the services rendered by Braiders.

Braiders are independent contractors, not employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers of Braidz IQ. Braiders are solely responsible for the quality and safety of their services, compliance with all applicable professional licensing laws, maintaining required insurance, paying all applicable taxes, and all equipment, supplies, and materials used in their services.

The Company does not endorse, recommend, warrant, or guarantee any Braider, service, or result. Verification badges indicate that a Braider has completed our identity verification process, not that we have verified the quality of their work.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at service@braidziq.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, chargebacks, or conduct harmful to the Platform or other users.

4. Booking and Appointment Terms

When a Customer books an appointment through the Platform, a booking contract is formed directly between the Customer and the Braider. The Company is not a party to that contract.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their hair type, desired style, and any relevant health conditions. Braiders are responsible for the accuracy of their listed services, pricing, availability, and specializations. Customers agree to arrive on time with hair washed and prepared as instructed.

5. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Each Braider sets their own cancellation policy within Platform parameters (typically 2-72 hours). If a Customer cancels within the Braider's stated window, the deposit may be forfeited. No-shows result in automatic capture of the full deposit. If a Braider cancels a confirmed booking, the Customer receives a full refund including the platform booking fee.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform and all Company-created content are the exclusive property of Flipping Innovations, LLC. By uploading content (portfolio photos, profile information, reviews) you grant Braidz IQ a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and promote such content in connection with operating and marketing the Platform.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: - Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose - Impersonate any person or entity - Post false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content - Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate any other user - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform - Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers - Circumvent the Platform to arrange off-platform transactions - Solicit other users to leave the Platform - Upload content containing viruses or malware - Discriminate against users based on any protected characteristic

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Flipping Innovations, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your infringement of any third-party right, or any services you provide or receive through the Platform.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. EXCEPT FOR SMALL CLAIMS, YOU AND BRAIDZ IQ AGREE THAT ALL DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. CLASS ACTIONS AND CLASS ARBITRATIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.

11. General Provisions

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Braider Service Provider Agreement, Payment Policy, and any other incorporated agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company. We may modify these Terms at any time and will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
